Kitchen and bathroom remodeling dos and don'ts

When you begin spending thousands of dollars on making your kitchen look like the one in that magazine or the one seen on TV show, you need to have a well thought out plan. Having a list is always good for anything.  When something like this is rushed into more money is spent in the end, and that is not good. A good decision would be to team up with a kitchen remodeling company and work together to make your dream a reality. A job like this can easily take several months to complete so be patient and not in a hurry. You definitely want to make a spending limit. Depending on the project $15,000 to $25,000 should be a good limit. Also don't settle for anything unattractive when you buy counter tops and appliances. A good thing to have in this situation is an opinion from friends and family when making these choices to see someone else point of view. At the end you will be glad that you had a plan and took it one step at a time.

Roof Repair

We have been mopping this roof for 2 days now, and let me tell you it's not an easy job.  Roofing cement is no joke. One of my good buddies calls it roof dope.  I like the name and think it fits.  Whatever that stuff touches -- it's not coming off.  If you feel like you want to touch up your own roof with roofing cement, be prepared to throw away the clothes that you wear.  Also, wear rubber gloves at all times.

Winter is coming to the Chicagoland area! Don't wait until its too late to do repairs to your roof. Flat Roof Contractors
